McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release
This treatment is an innovative new Massage Therapy technique and offers a safe and non-invasive way to treat the effects of scarring or fibrosis.
A light pressure jerking movement is performed in 8 different directions in order to open space within the tightly woven and matted collagen matrix. This allows space for blood vessels, lymph vessels and nerves to carry out normal function with surrounding tissues.

This method has been used to treat burns, C-section, surgical scaring, amputation, graft sites, mastectomy, acne scaring, frozen shoulder and the list goes on, and is recommended for anyone suffering neuropathic pain, loss in range of motion, poor lymph flow or decreased quality of life due to the presentation of scar tissue in any form.

NB: A 15 minute consultation is undertaken at the 1st session followed by 15 minute treatment. Large scars can only be treated for 15 minutes, Small scars for 7 minutes. More than one scar can be treated in a session
